    All price data, including intraday stock data, from Price-data.com comes in the universally accepted ASCII format. All data is comma delimited. Most major charting programs will accept an ASCII format.

    There are several major charting programs used for the backtesting of systems. These inlcude Omega Research's Tradestation and Super Charts programs and Equis' MetaStock. (for exact compatibiliy contact the software developer)

    Other customers will write their own programs for the development of trading systems. Microsoft Visual Basic, C++, Fox Pro and Excel are some of the more popular choices.
